I enjoyed it enough. I certainly found myself excited to keep reading and to finish (but not in the "get through it sense"). I did think the transition to the second half with Alice Maxwell was hard to swallow and felt kind of out of nowhere. That is why I knocked off half a star.

I was also a bit disappointed with the narrator. He wasn't really bad but his sentences felt disjointed rather than flowing.
